Privacy policy
What we keep, why we keep it and how your account stays protected on our server.
Who is responsible for your data
Kinetic Pride (kineticpride.com) is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to [email protected] or use the contact page.
This notice explains what we collect, the reasons, how long we keep it, and your rights under the GDPR and applicable data protection law.
Information we hold

We never ask for card or bank details and we don't collect special category data.
Passwords
We never keep your password in readable form. The server converts it into a one-way hash with PHP's password_hash function, which can't be turned back into the original, even by us. Passwords never appear in logs or emails and are never shown again after you type them.
Five wrong password attempts in a row lock the account for 15 minutes to stop guessing.
Where it is stored
Every form on the site (sign-up, sign-in, contact and Player Care) is processed by our own web server rather than in your browser. Account records are kept in private server files that are shut off from public access. No account details are written into the pages you see or shown to anyone else.
Messages to our team travel over an encrypted (TLS) connection through our email delivery service, and the whole site runs on HTTPS.
Who else sees it
- Our web host, which runs the server holding the site and its files.
- Our email delivery service (Brevo), which carries contact and Player Care messages to our inbox.
- Google, only when you pick Continue with Google; Google's privacy policy covers that step.
We never sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
- Account data: for as long as the account is open. Deleting your account removes its file from the server immediately.
- Messages and form logs: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Browser storage (age check, cookie choice): until you clear it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, restrict or object to how we use it, or have it in a portable format. You can delete your own account at any time from My account; for anything else, email [email protected]. We answer within one month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data you may have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Under-18s
Kinetic Pride is for adults only. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we'll erase them.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
